You might be wondering why I categorized this blog as under "Tech" but there's a "Summer OOTD" alongside that title as well ... well my friends, I'd love to share a few outfit ideas best suited for summer indeed, yes, but it's also best to capture them with a gadget that's best-suited to take photos this season. And you probably guessed it right ... I want to talk about capturing the best summer outfits with this chic gadget namely, Oppo F1s that'll definitely make it easy for us to snap & save our OOTDs!

Since I saw this watch on many fashion bloggers' wrists, I can't help but want to have the same. I admire the design and the classic or vintage vibe it boosts. A couple of months back, I checked on this fabulous website filled with these types of watches, of course where else but at http://www.danielwellington.com/ right? I was hoping to find a lot of variations in style, color, and dial but to my surprise - whoooaalaaaa! It's all the same classic dial and the only thing that changes is the strap. So I thought, hmmm, this must be special - like those classy vintage watches you pass on to the next of your kin huh? LOL. And this must be really pricey ... and as I checked the price, they were indeed costly.

So I kinda lost hope in wanting to have my own Daniel Wellington watch, knowing that I personally couldn't afford it. Well, maybe yes I can but it would cost me a fortune of my month's salary and I had to sacrifice my other "needs" and expenses just to get one for myself. The one I wanted costs $175 (Php7,000) and that's already a piece of my house expenses (I'm the breadwinner in the family - which you can read in my "About" section). So I told myself, blaaaahhh ... fuhgedaboutit!!! But what's this I saw? A little spark of hope! Daniel Wellington was giving away and sponsoring these watches to fashion bloggers with quite a huge population of followers! So then, I grabbed that opportunity and took my chance on this Daniel Wellington sponsorship. And the rest was history ...

SheInside is probably one of the most successful online fashion shops around. With close to about 99,000 fans on Facebook; countless users and fashion bloggers around the world; multitude of giveaways; and loads more.

I am one of those fans who always look after the next giveaway - be it from other fashion bloggers, their Facebook giveaway, Polyvore set giveaway, or their site's own giveaway. And in one of those giveaways, I luckily won. I mentioned that in a few of my past posts (and this one is long overdue again hehe) and I just found time to blog about it now. And even if this is now posted; it was a long road before this even got posted (with many other posts in queue lah~ Sorry!)

That giveaway I joined was the SheInside Grand Christmas Giveaway found also on SheInside Blog Post. The mechanics were pretty simple - for a series of 5 weeks 'til Christmas, we just had to share the photo of the featured products (new coats to be exact) on any social media platforms. There were 3 winners each week and the winners have to come from 1) most likes in Facebook; 2) most pins on Pinterest; 3) random winner. I won category 1 in one of the weeks. Firmoo, the #1 online Optical Shop has hosted one of the biggest giveaways recently. Last March 4; they gave away a total of 100 Free Pairs and to continuously promote the giveaway, they also hosted Facebook Share contest and Twitter Retweet promos. Being a partner to Firmoo and having hosted 2 giveaways sponsored by Firmoo; I've constantly supported their promos and advertised the shop's activities.

To my surprise, I've one of of Firmoo's amazing promos and that's the Retweet to Win Promo last February 28. What an amazing way to end the month, really! And to think, it's yet another month passing before I posted this ... lah~ So busy~ And yes, this is another scheduled post ... queued them already because I'm so stuck with a lot of work items ... so hopefully, you still enjoy my posts.

In my country, we actually just have 2 seasons - summer and rainy. But in other parts of the world, there are 4 seasons and one of them is surely about to end ... winter. Well, this is actually the title of my entry to this awesome contest hosted by SheInside.com. Been rather busy these days ... sorry my dear readers! Will visit you again soon ...

I envision Spring with pink and blossoms! I feel that florals showcases that lovely look! With that, I chose comfy yet edgy items to match the girly look I was thinking of. The tweed shorts I found are awesome and would definitely add that unique touch! Hence, those cool shorts are the ones I paired with the floral sweaters I found serving as tops. At last! Now I know what it's really called! LOL. Call me noob but lah~ I don't really have a deep grasp of these fashion items yet hehe. I'm in love with fashionable items but so geek in that aspect yet so pardon me if I don't call them right. LOL.

All I knew before was, it's similar to the Prada sunnies; it has curving temples with rounded frames; and there's a lot of imitation products out there. But thank goodness for The Sunglasses Shop UK for hosting this great giveaway that I finally know what it's called and I can even get a chance to get one. You too!

Bloggers like you and me can get a chance to win this designer eyewear called "Prada 27NS" in baroque style and tortoise shell design / color (if I'm not mistaken?) Originally, I just saw a black one and now, I think there are lots of variations already. Different colors and designs on the temple frames!

When I was in my early adolescent stage, I never imagined that there is technology involved in the inner garments we wear. As I matured more, I realized there's even fashion involved in it. And as the trend in lingerie and intimate apparels evolve, so does its functionality and ability to provide the needs of every woman. I'm glad there are companies such as Wacoal who realizes that and the need of every woman to be beautiful, delivering their high quality product for all women in the world.

Wacoal was one of the first (or at least how I knew it) to help ensure that every woman gets the right fit & size for their bra. Not only that it's dangerous to wear the wrong type and fit; it's also unhealthy and causes a lot of problems later on, especially as we all age. Thankfully, Wacoal does take this into consideration as well and makes sure that us, women, find our perfect fit for our uniquely, yet beautifully shaped body; depending on our age. I didn't really know that there are such types and categories before - until I discovered it here. It's a health choice to find the right bra for support as we grow and reach our prime. Dressing up is an effort, as well as an accomplishment. Not everyone is blessed with a great style and fashion sense. It's always a challenge to conform with the norm, or even go out of norm. Sometimes, you might end up being called weird or crazy if you wear something that's not in accordance to basic pieces. But ever wonder why those items "in style" or "in season" are more often than not; NOT in anyway near staple pieces in normal wardrobe / closet?

These great geniuses or fashion gurus are always "fashion-forward" that's why! They're not afraid to do their own thing and flaunt their skills the best way they can, regardless of what other people say. And for me, that earns a lot of respect.

I posted a few entries before about my challenge ... some how, in corporate dressing. Somehow, there's this fear of coming out with "too-old" or "too plain" or "too formal" look. Being in the corporate world, I know I need to dress up but the choices somehow may not be fit for me. However, choosing the other styles may look "too young" either - which may not be appropriate for an office wear. There's always that borderline. And having a company dress code; while it does help us project that better corporate image; it's also a big challenging. Take for example, my Outfit Post: I Think I'm ♣UGLY♣ where I mixed office wear with trend shoes, heel-less wedges. The look received a lot of good words and comments from fellow bloggers and fashionistas; to the level of praise some how; but it received quite a number of mixed reactions in the office - from the level of "ok" to "not appropriate."

So what look can be good enough for corporate / office wear without being too flashy? So I just joined this site called Polyvore and wow; it has a lot of style inspirations for fellow users and it's fantastic how you can create your own style inspiration. I played around it for a bit and came up with this look using items from one of the shops I also physically visit - The RAMP Crossings ...

Followers of this blog know for sure that my KPOP music fandom has inspired me a lot in my Asian fashion inspirations and style. 2NE1 is my most favorite music and style icon from the scene and of course, talking about music, their male counterpart aptly called BIG BANG is yet another fave for me. Who wouldn't fall in love with these cuties? Tell me! Aside from their groovy music, they're obviously overflowing with hotness! Do I sound so biased?

I first got to know them when I saw T.O.P. featured in the music video by GUMMY in the song entitled SORRY（ごめんなさい）when I was just watching 2NE1 videos; and this one had Sandara Park in it - she was trying to get back in the scene then. Eventually, I got interested with 2NE1 and so on ... I saw their collab-video called Lollipop with uber-cuteness tune and such a colorful music video ... and the rest is history. Need I say more? I just got hooked and boom! Been listening to their music since then ...

This time; with many of my fellow countrymen (wow, so formal! LOL) getting hooked to Korean music and fashion; it's great to know that big brand names such as SAMSUNG are willing to bring them over; live in the flesh, for fans like me to feast on! With the advent of the group's latest album "ALIVE," my favorite brand for now (since I'm such an Android fan and a user of Samsung Galaxy SII hehe) brings us BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY TOUR 2012!

Well, I just got lucky again ... Hohoho~ And this blog post is overdue hehe.

Lucky me, I often win these online contests from celebrities and fellow bloggers. I guess whenever I see something I want (or even something I don't want that much); and it comes for free; I grab the opportunity! Haha! Obsessed? Not really hehe. But the best things in life are for free! LOL. So cliche but ... it works! And since I didn't let those opportunities slip, I win!

Call me crazy but ... well, I'm sure you wouldn't pass such opportunities as well; especially when the ones up for grabs are cool and loveable items like this one!
