I originally started this blog as a Fashion & Beauty Blog in terms of category since I took it off from my personal blog at xanga and moved here to blogspot. Since 2011, this blog has evolved from that category, to include more of my random ramblings and musings in the fields of style, lifestyle, food, gaming, tech, more reviews and so on. I guess I need to ensure this blog also stays delivering the "fashion sense" I wanted to instill in it so yeah, I thought I'd give a new outfit post again after like, some years? Haha! I normally just document my corporate outfit or daily work attire. While most of it is all-dressy (required for my role), I also do casual likes like this one when it's towards the end of the week already.

I don't normally wear jeans to work. In fact even on casual days, most of the time I'd wear a casual dress instead. So when I do wear jeans, it comes as a surprise at work. Haha! But that's the thrill of it too, to surprise the people around. I own only a few pairs of jeans and I have more shirts (that I normally wear with shorts) so whenever I wear jeans like this one, I find it a little bit challenging to match it with a nice top to make it still good for an office environment yet stay stylish and slay! This one's one of those good casual tops to wear with jeans and flash that blue jean outfits looks best for casual days.

It's officially summer time! Vacation time! I ain't really the "beach person" type. I rarely go to swimming activities, either with just swimming pools or big, beautiful beaches. One thing I always think of is ... what am I supposed to wear? The fashionista in me thinks that every time we'll go to an outing, I need to have a new outfit. Hahah! Do you guys think the same? But then again, that'll be too expensive! The travel expenses + all the different swimwear to wear, right? Thankfully, there are online shops now that really offer great quality and affordable pricing for swimsuits! And my pick this time is My Korean Rose shop, where I got these fashionably cute swimwear!

I love Korean beauty products and Korean trends / fashion / clothing! Combine them in these swimwear pieces, and voila! I guess we'll look like kpop stars then! LOL. I recently had a film shoot where the theme was to look like in the 1950s era. I was sent a few photo references of the 1950s fashion for costume purposes but I had another idea in mind. Guess what? Well yeah, you probably guessed it right ... 1950s Barbie Doll! I researched a little bit more about the 50's fashion so I can match the look. It was only 2 days before the actual shoot so I didn't have much time to prep as well. It's not like I have a major role in the film though. But I love cosplay makeup transformations so I just wanted to make sure I look the part.

As I try to grow my Youtube Channel, I came to this side of the internet where I found a lot of weird stuff ... and characters! My Channel has been existing for quite some time but I just mostly upload random videos. My subscribers were primarily friends and contacts from my Google account since 2005 hehehe. That time, there's still that export option or something, if I'm not mistaken. I had the chance to have my Google contacts subscribe to me and my friends get notified when I upload a new video ... they mostly comment a lot. Fast forward now, a lot has changed in Youtube algorithm as well and getting views and subscribers get more challenging hehe. But anyway, I've been on hiatus for quite some time I guess. I only started getting back to my channel some time late 2015 and started creating content just in 2016, last year. Hope you guys subscribe to my channel as well!

Ok back to topic ... so as I try to venture into more Youtube research and videos related to my content ... I found this weird girl popping out everywhere. I found That Poppy or also commonly known now by her self introduction, "I'm Poppy." That ageless, seemingly young but sexually attractive girl with platinum blonde hair and cutesy-sounding yet monotone voice. I encountered this video by FBE wherein she reacted to some kids reacting to her video called as such as well. And that's really weird ... POPPY REACTS TO KIDS REACT TO POPPY ...

Today, I give you yet another "episode" of this blog's section called Project Dress Code. I've been rather busy with work and life (for real) so these scheduled posts come to you instead. And while I wished to keep this section on a more regular basis; I guess I can do it monthly instead. You've seen my own version of it before: Dress Code Policy: Love It? Hate It? Whatnots? And last June 2013 was the first feature I made - [Project Dress Code] Feature # 1 - Camille Co and Win a Michael Kors Ladies Watch. This July, I give you yet another webisode featuring another blogger who inspired me in my wardrobe choices. While of course I can't match all her style and clothing; her way of dressing has truly given me other options too.

Jessica R. or Jess as she's fondly called, is one of the many fashion bloggers out there who stands out because of style and charm. I first saw her in Lookbook - Hapatime and since then (I think it was early last year, 2012) I started following her looks. I wasn't so keen in following many bloggers here until mid-last year though (when I decided to socialize more from this blog hehe). Then I started following her posts. They are short and sweet and concise but definitely attracts all the attention it needs.

Not so long ago, some time April 2013, popular fashion hub Lookbook.nu launched a very special project dubbed as Lookbook The Series. LOOKBOOK: The Series is claimed to be a story of passion, intrigue and betrayal set in the world of online fashion blogging. This original series was said to be inspired by the LOOKBOOK.nu community and each episode is available for viewing at lookbook.nu/tv

The project launched mixed reactions as well from eager fans and lookbook users; as well as the press. Like me ... I was intrigued about what type of story it has. Is it promising enough ... will we learn from this series ... is it gonna be "just another blogger" post showing different branded items without real style ... will they have lackluster acting ... etc. Those were some of my initial reactions when I saw it's email announcement. At the same time, I was also a bit excited back then since, well, this is something new from the Lookbook team. I tried to follow the shorts and I'd love to share my thoughts about this show.

I'm a fan of the Hunger Games movie. And while this look isn't anywhere near the costumes or looks in that flick, one of the songs in the movie's soundtrack keeps on playing in my mind as I donned this look. It's Taylor Swift's Safe and Sound. I dunno ... probably the ghostly voice and video, the song's lyrics, and the mood I had lately ... all plays the tune. Hence this look is entitled as such. I believe I'll be safe and sound soon too ...

The calming color of my blazer does match the lyrics ... soothing, relaxing ... a mood and feel I've been waiting for ...

I had a recent opportunity to see a vast collection of fine jewelry available online. The jewelries are really gorgeous, and well-crafted. I've been post-less and haven't visited my readers and the blogs I follow these past few days ... lah~ Sorry my dears! Been caught up with a lot ... Today, I'm launching a new feature in this blog and I'm calling it Project Dress Code. I've scheduled this post (and more of the posts to come) and written a while back ... just kept on moving because of other past posts hehehe ... My busy schedule keeps me moving. I've been thinking about this but haven't really blogged about it though, nor share it to you guys until today. You've seen my own version of it before: Dress Code Policy: Love It? Hate It? Whatnots? And now I wish to envision it on others ... So without further ado, I just launched it! LOL. No explanation needed! Haha!

Well, technically, I aim to feature fashion bloggers, celebrities, and even other people who may not be active in the social media world, who have influenced my style.

I live in a corporate environment where image plays a major role and as you may have read more and more in my posts - my past dressing style may either have been too young for my position or too old for my age. There's this balancing act that I always had to portray. It's been rather tough but thanks to these people and inspirations; I was able to pull it off.

This project also aims to share the looks of these people that will fit the office environment where I'm in; hence called "dress code." For a week's time, given the way they dress and style their outfits; which one of those would "fit" in the dress code? So somehow, this also shares my sense of style or how I'd style my looks based on their looks / outfits as well. Truly, filled with inspiration and love for fashion to share! I wish this series to be some-what regular on a weekly basis or a bi-weekly basis. Keeping my fingers crossed (^_^)

I've been a bridesmaid to most of my friends' weddings ... though it ain't as many as the movie 27 Dresses yet; I must say my outfit has adapted to trends too. The most recent wedding I attended was, well, not-so-recent anymore. LOL It was November last year, for one of my team members and a dear friend. To date, this is my most favorite theme as well. The colors are perfect for spring and the 2013 color trends.

The theme song was so captivating as well and the location was great! I had a great time with the guests and of course, the newly wed couple. Romwe Fashion is undoubtedly the fast-rising online fashion shopping haven right now. It's popular among news sharing sites, social networking tools, fashion blogs, among others.
