Not having enough parties yet? Haha! This other outfit I'm sharing is again, from one of our company parties and this actually happened since last year. I've already posted this look in Lookbook and as usual, I'm late again in blogging it haha.

I was thinking if I was to go dark or light for the party - darker colors or lighter shades? And since I was already in darker shades from my last outfits, I decided to go with lighter, more vibrant colors this time. It's the season of sparkles too, well, at least during that time! I went with pink hues - one of my favorite girlie colors! And knowing that the holiday season was almost up that time; I went a little thrifty with my outfit!

I actually just "mixed & matched" everything in this look! That's some savings then for me hahah! Some of my colleagues thought everything was brand new. But lah~ Everything here were just stocks in my closet. Thanks to styling! Woohoo!

You've seen me blog about this shop before. I've read different reviews about the site and it seems reliable enough, bringing affordable and quality products to online shoppers like me. What season you ask? Of course, it's that time of the year when we prepare for our Junior & Senior Promenade Parties where we choose lovely evening gowns and beautiful cocktail dresses that will transform us from teeny-bopper to gorgeous lady-looks. I can still recall that time when I first prepared for mine. It was such a memorable experience. Sad to say, I wasn't able to save photos as I wasn't able to bring a camera that time. I had pictures from my friends but I wasn't able to get a copy anymore. And the only "photographer" shot I had (which was sold outside the venue); somebody else bought it lah~ So I really don't have a copy of it now hehe.

I've written about this shop a few days back, as soon as I saw their gorgeoud products and my fixations on black & white clothing! I found lovely and affordable sets and shared my style inspirations from this post: Clothingloves.com Black & White Ensemble and Winners of my 1st Blog Giveaway! And as I was shopping around, I did find more products that suit my taste and style.

Readers of this blog would know how it's pretty challenging for me to dress up at work; given the complexity of the environment, my young age in a corporate setting, and the position I hold. It's either I sacrifice style or my post. LOL. Of course, I'd love to adhere to dress code policies hehe; but I'd also love to express my fashion sense in my daily outfits. It was one of our company account parties and the theme was rather cool! I found it easy to dress up during this event as I combined different pieces of clothing from fave stores. And since it was really the season of sales already, it was a breeze shopping!

And to those who follow me on lookbook, you can see that this look has been uploaded there for long. And I'm just unable to really blog about it haha!

My last outfit post was an "outfit change" for the same day. Because we had a program and I danced with my colleagues so we had to wear dance outfits. But to match the theme, this was what I wore. Somehow I wanted to channel being edgy with this look. Then after this that was when I dressed up for the dance - Outfit Post: Step Up Dance Gear.

Flipsters: The Collapsible Flip Flops

At Nail It Salon with my Flipsters

It's post-holiday season!!! It's the time of the year when we're out for lots of shopping, strolling, and the likes because all SALES / DISCOUNTED / MARKED DOWNS all pop out this time of the year. Our loveable feet would get tired from walking and needs the much needed care and support too!

Late 2011, and somehow last year 2012 (I need to get accustomed to calling 2012 "last year" haha); I believe that the trend on foldable and rollable shoes and slippers have taken fashion bloggers and regular users alike by storm. I see them everywhere ... almost! LOL. In quite a number of posts, features in magazines, etc. I did manage to get myself one and I must say, it's pretty comfortable. While I really don't believe it's something as important as regular footwear, I think it still has its uses. And so, I found myself not just having one shoe but two pairs now - well, the other one is a pair of slippers and this is what I'm writing this post about. Technically, it's called the collapsible flip flops and honestly, I guess I wouldn't even be having one had it not been because I needed one! LOL.

I was having my regular manicure and pedicure session and just right after my foot spa, when I realized that I did not bring my trusted slippers that time (well, technically, Havaianas) so I really couldn't go home afterwards even after drying my nails a bit. So I had to rush to a nearby shop at the mall. Thankfully, I found this.

Outfit Post: Step Up Dance Gear

Did you miss my outfit posts? Yeah ... so did I! Haha! Can't believe that the last one I posted was more than a month ago ... going two (2) months now heheh. It was this one: Outfit Post: Vintage Life and Hearts and Cupcakes For those who follow me on lookbook, you've already seen this ...

This photo was taken last year, around October 2012 in one of our company anniversary parties. This was my "dance gear" look as we danced to the tunes of J.Lo's "Dance Again" and Beyonce's "Run The World." I wish I could share the video but I'm so darn lazy to transfer the vid from my phone to my computer lah~ So maybe some other time hehehe.

I've entered this as well for Step Up Movie's photo contest- if I were eligible. LOL. But the contest is only for US Residents hehe.

I'm a fan of dancing. I love to dance - whether that'd be hip hop, ballroom, local / folk dances, anything! Except probably for "breakdancing" hahaha! I can't even do that. But I do play DDR so maybe that'll help hehe~

I envision Spring with pink and blossoms! I feel that florals showcases that lovely look! With that, I chose comfy yet edgy items to match the girly look I was thinking of. The tweed shorts I found are awesome and would definitely add that unique touch! Hence, those cool shorts are the ones I paired with the floral sweaters I found serving as tops. After this fiasco with this post Indressme Online Store: Rude Chat Support, I guess I need to contradict this bad start for 2013 with a good and better post, right? And so let me bring you a few good stuffs to keep your 2013 alive and kicking!

When it comes to shopping, us shoppers of course are looking for good quality and price at the same time. Sometimes, they go together. Sometimes, they don't. Sometimes, you can even get poor customer service from shops you thought are great ... like what I experienced. I know we all want customer satisfaction and great service from shops and it takes a good company with training to have the values shared with their personnel too. With the booming online shopping industry offering convenience of shopping at the tip of your fingers, customers are also looking for safety of course, as all transactions with the use of credit cards and other modes of payment are offered; leaving potential risks to us shoppers-at-home.

I'm glad to find a few good shops around like this shop serving as a dropship from China and promising to be the one stop source for first-quality products at rock-bottom prices!
