Office attire can be a little tricky sometimes ... I don't want to always look so-formal or so-corporate.
So sometimes, I play around with the trends and items in my closet.

Floral seems to be "in style" and while I don't really have much of these prints in my closet, I have few and this skirt is one of them. :) It has been an instant fave for me then because of it's uber-lovely pattern.

I got it from one of the sale events I wrote a while back. Check out my 3rd Megabrands Sale Experience post. I think because of its color and style, I'm gonna be overusing it for quite some time hahah. Maybe I should've bought more of it then, what do you think?

Outfit Post: ♠ Blackjack ♠ I Am The Best (내가 제일 잘 나가)

Obviously, this look is inspired by 2NE1, coming from the term "Blackjack" since 2NE1 fans are aptly called. I myself am one of 'em!

Their music video entitled I AM THE BEST (내가 제일 잘 나가) which you can view here: Youtube - I Am The Best in its "all black glory" has become my inspiration for this look. I wasn't trying to look particularly like one of them though since it's all glossy and latex and all that I guess, but something chic and black fun might somehow look like it, I guess hehe.

KPOP has influenced me in so many ways too. The way I listen to music (which is mostly KPOP now indeed hehe); the way I dress up casually; the way I style myself; make up; party get up, etc.

While cosplay in itself as a hobby has helped me more, I must say Korean Fashion has been is one of the styles I follow and do most of the time. If you follow my blog, you'll see that one of my fashion resources is Asianvogue Shop and most of my outfits since way back then are from this shop ... or similar!

And this time around, when I'm not in my formal or corporate attire, during "casual mode", this is one of the ways I dress up - KPOP style!

BTS: Chalk and Star Studio Magazines Feature!

Can't believe that it's been a year since this shoot and yet it feels like it's still so recent. I just recalled that I haven't written about this experience until I read about the event that happened a few days ago - Chalk Fashion Rocks 2012. This made me reminisce the opportunity given to me last year, where I was featured in a local teen / fashion magazine and in a celebrity magazine.

It was September 15 last year when we had our shoot and it was really fun and entertaining. A break from all the stress at work and something fresh; an activity I truly miss. Not that I'm new in shoots since I do attend photoshoots for cosplay, among others. Also, I ain't that new in getting featured since a number of my cosplays or characters have already appeared in other published materials (which reminds me, I gotta write about it too hehe). But getting featured in these magazines with a nice article is something I'd treasure for life.

I also can't believe I'm only posting this just now. LOL. Actually, I think I have a lot of other posts I need to queue. I haven't written about the other great finds lah~ Dang! I lack days to write! I normally just write on weekends and schedule them for posting (due to my busy work life lah~ sorry!) and spread them out. I guess that made it slip my mind on writing about this experience.

Nevertheless, here it is ... check out our fun moments in the shoot!!! Behind the scenes ... here we go!!!

My ETC Fashion Flea Market Fashion Finds

I understand, this is rather another delayed post. Hehe. This event took place last August 25-26 and it's just being posted now. Sorry dearies! (^_^) I blogged about it here.

It's because I had a number of other awesome blog entries (naks!) awaiting to be posted here so this one got moved. And due to my busy schedule, yes, I just blog on weekends and queue them instead so this is auto-posted.

But don't fret! Here it is now ...

Allow me to share with you what I got from this event. I was honestly feeling down that time and thought of not coming anymore but then, I felt like going to the office to finish some tasks so I dropped by here as well, before getting to work.

It was a little late already, like about a little more than an hour before the closing time. I did not anticipate the fact that they are not like the malls. LOL. I forgot they close at 8PM geeez! So most of the stores were already packing up ... I just had to rush my shopping hehe.

I didn't get to pay any entrance fee anymore nor register ... nor get this cute loot bag *sobs* but it's a good thing they still allowed us late shoppers to come in.

Outfit Post: Sweet Girl Glee Burlesque

At parties, it's really a different story. My outfits always come out differently. Some may find it weird. Haha! However, I'd rather not care. It's all about style, fashion, and trend! My fashion sense ain't too-extremist though but a little eccentric ... especially on events hehe. The normal corporate look and casuals are put aside. The result! Something like this!

Our company's Christmas party was "Glee"-themed ... but I wasn't too much of a follower of the show. I watched a few episodes and I'm still trying to find time to watch the series hehe. I love musicals so I'm definitely gonna watch it full ... soon! But sad to say, not right now ...

And so, I just opted for a "Sweet Girl" yet a musical-inspired theme; more of a "Moulin Rouge" and "Burlesque" style I must say ... Those two (2) movies - I really love to bits! But of course, I still must adhere to the theme so I somehow channeled in Glee ... I came up with this look! It was fun! (^_^)

Comfit Sale Loot - Prepare for Shoegasm!

One of my recent trips (well, a few weeks back hehe) to Comfit store didn't leave me without purchase. Of course, how can a girl resist such great deals from a fab store like Comfit?

It was that Long Weekend Sale event from Aug. 17-21, which I didn't let pass without checking. I was hesitant at first, really, because I thought of the money I'll let go again haha! But since I know Comfit is such a good brand as well and the shoes I currently have from it are of good quality, I know it'll be a good deal for me with savings. I wasn't disappointed...

The store I visited at SM North EDSA - The Block showcased a number of marked down items ranging from 5% to 50% off. I was tempted to get 'em all! LOL.

That day, they also featured their newest line - the Japanese Shoe Collection. Because of the cute designs I saw and blogged, I decided to give it a go and purchase a pair or two. Besides, I'd get that chic canvas bag they're giving away for free. While I ain't really a "bag person," I do have a few reusable bags at home - perfect from bringing some stuff to work like food, extra clothing, alternative shoes, etc. Doesn't have to be too fancy! So I thought this bag would be just great.

As I checked the shoes around, I didn't realize I'll drool over most of them and couldn't decide what to get... just what was in store? Take a look ...

No Big Pores! Thanks to Etude House Mini Size U!

No woman appreciates having ugly marks on their faces - be it pimples, moles (though sometimes it achieves a sexy look), and of course; "big pores." While that could be an accumulated result of unhealthy habits, nobody appreciates suffering on that for a life time right?

We would always find ways to cure that - no matter what it takes ... I'm glad that one of my very first items from Etude House is its Mini Size U set - the possible answer to one of my big problems too ... big pores. I've blogged about that last year as I posted about My Etude House Beauty Collection.

I started with just a sampler size - a mini set. And after trying it out for quite some time, I decided to buy bigger bottles and more from its line ... and can you believe it? It lasted me for about a year! Such great savings!

Having sensitive yet oily skin is no joke. It's hard to take care of it since there are not much beauty products you can trust. For sure, a lot of claims are out there and somehow, they are very promising. However, when you try them, they won't deliver the results you need. Take it from me! I tried lots of them already and sad to say, they didn't make my skin any better. Some of them did even worse - as such, I developed pimples, yeah worst acne attacks, redness, rashes, dryness ... loads more! All I wanted was to take care of my skin, especially my face. Unfortunately, I suffered more.

Thankfully, I found out about Etude House's Mini Size U and it did wonders on my face! I can't thank this brand enough and this line, for not just making my skin better, but for even making my face glow!

So, I Won This Comfit Foldable Bag!

Well, I just got lucky again ... Hohoho~ And this blog post is overdue hehe.

Lucky me, I often win these online contests from celebrities and fellow bloggers. I guess whenever I see something I want (or even something I don't want that much); and it comes for free; I grab the opportunity! Haha! Obsessed? Not really hehe. But the best things in life are for free! LOL. So cliche but ... it works! And since I didn't let those opportunities slip, I win!

Call me crazy but ... well, I'm sure you wouldn't pass such opportunities as well; especially when the ones up for grabs are cool and loveable items like this one! It's very cute and something that each one of us can use - a need, not just a want. So when it comes for free, go for it! And I just did!

Shoe Obsessed with Beth Shak Shoe Collection

And just how much can a woman go crazy over a pair of shoes? How many pairs is enough and how much is too much?

I came across this article from Yahoo: Cinderella Shoe Trend: DSW, Louboutin Take on Princess Heels; and it was pretty interesting... until the video under the story as a snippet really caught my attention.

It was about this girl's story - Beth Shak; about being shoe-obsessed. I must say this one is really crazy! Nope; not her! But I can't imagine how one person can own such a huge amount of shoe pairs in life! I guess it really hasn't dawned on me yet that there are indeed members of the upper 1% of the population and she's one of them! Yay! I love her shoe collection.

Eyeliner Faves from Fashion 21!

Breaking the outfits posts (LOL) ... lemme go back to my other turf ... beauty stuff!

Being a cosplayer, make up is also a kit essential. And being a cosplayer with small, chinky eyes like mine, I need a very trusty eyeliner that will shade and define my eyes ... not to mention make it bigger.

While I do have other favorites; of course from my trusted brand as well, Etude House; there are other cosmetics or make up items that I play faves on because of their functionality and the overall look I achieve by using them. And one of the essentials in make up is an eyeliner. In cosplay; the only eyeliner I use is this one brand - from Fashion 21.

In one of my other eye make up posts, I reviewed EH pencil eyeliner. There are different types of eyeliners and this type is definitely one that I think every girl should invest on - liquid eyeliner.

From the brand itself, Fashion 21 Cosmetics, there are different types of eyeliners to choose from. Actually, the dipliner is even on a separate category from the liquid eyeliner. I already tried both types in black and so far, this is my favorite.
