2ne1,
I was curious at first and tried it. I've read a few good stuffs about it anyway and it seems to be the "trend" in KPOP look - those deeply lined dark lines as seen on Korean Pop Artists like my favorite, 2NE1 - Sandara Park, Bom Park and the rest. Those neatly and perfectly lined eyes that look dolly with other enhancements like falsies, circle lenses, etc. Yeah! That one! So imagine my happiness when I found out that one of my trusted brands, Etude House; has this!
Of course, this has been in the market for long before I even noticed it some time late last year. Haha! Allow me to share this product with you ...

It comes along this carefully packed box and with a small bottle and tip brush, neatly capped as well. Silly me, I dun exactly know what it's called haha. Sorry! But I wish it could've come along with a smaller box instead so instead of carrying along this type of box (unevenly shaped); it would be easier to carry.
Well, since I don't carry a makeup bag with me, that's why I wanted a smaller box hehe. Right now, these 2 pieces freely moves inside my bag's little container packet haha. The box is already torn. LOL.
TO USE: Line and define the eye with this Cream - formula that glides over the lid without pulling or tugging. The quick-dry formula sets quickly and stays put all day.
I must say this promise has been fulfilled well and it does stay on all day without smudging or smearing. If I compare it with the Etude House Stylish Liner - this one is really better. You wouldn't fear it will ruin your face / look / makeup. Tried and tested!
Use the brush to gather this creamy black makeup product. Trace line along the upper and lower eye lines with dabbing motion. To achieve a stronger KPOP look, trace thick lines along upper and lower lines in one motion. As for me, it works both ways - whether just a thin line or thick line to achieve a fiercer look. What's important for me is it doesn't smear! Woot!
And because it's actually too strong, I use Etude House Lip & Eye Makeup Remover at the end of the day to remove it. It doesn't just go away with plain soap and water. I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants to achieve those perfectly lined eyes.
It took me some time before I mastered putting it. During my first few days of trial, I normally ... accidentally slip and line more than I should. LOL. At times, it appeared thicker than it should be hehe. There were times I actually filled my entire eyelid because the lines kept moving up beyond my control ... LOL. Honestly, it actually looked nice in the end - I thought I looked like a panda already hehe. But it just looked like I had black eye makeup on. And again, it stayed on all day. Really amazing product!
The photos here are just taken with my Samsung Galaxy SII and I was surprised of the photo quality as well. It was clear and bright! The room's lighting cooperated hehe. This is perfect for everyday use and parties.

Power Up KPOP Eyes Look with Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner
I've been satisfied before with using pencil eyeliners and moved to using liquid eyeliner until I discovered the dip liners. I believe this line of beauty products have evolved to a whole new world and continuously improved as time goes by ... and little did I know, there are these "creamy eye liners" in town already hohoho~Etude House Drawing Show Creamy Liner |

Does it easily dry up? I'm a fan of gel liners but the one I got from ELD dried up after 4 months even if I barely use it and I always make sure I close it well. I'm using one from maybelline now but its slowly starting to dry up too.

sounds like a good eyeliner! Have a similar one and it's amazing! http://neverdreamedaboutthis.blogspot.com
ReplyDeleteyou make me want to go back to gel eyeliners. i've been having lots of trouble with using liquid eyeliners lately. But like like the connivence of them since I dont have to clean a brush. maybe i'll go back to using gel liners in the morning and just carry around a liquid eyeliner in my purse for touch ups. you've inspired me, imma do that now. haha.

Hi Chai, I've actually never tried a gel liner before, you make it seem and look effortless, I like the packaging on this one. The last photo of you is so cute and creatively designed!
ReplyDeleteHmm I'm totally converted to liquid liners but from time to time I like to use ones that come in pots too :) I find that you achieve a more bold look with these ones.
