Online shopping has been far better in the recent years. Given the convenience it offers and the pretty affordable prices you get, without the hassle of traveling and queue to pay your purchases. It's best when you find great shopping sites like this one I recently discovered.

The shop is called Chinese-Apparel.com. The shop features Japanese and Korean ladies fashion. They aimed at providing a wide range of trendy products - having a good business relationship with many Chinese suppliers, factories.This gave them the opportunity to provide really great prices for lovely customers like me because the products are coming directly from factory to customers. Being a trading company and on-line store based in Chine with management from Russia, they are still always working honestly across the globe and trying to provide trusted and high quality service to customers.

Browsing from their catalogue online, I can't help but compare their prices from other online shops I signed up with and the first thing I noticed is indeed, their much lower prices. Judging from their photos too, it doesn't look like quality is sacrificed so that's another quality factor +++ added to their reputation points - well, I mean for me as to how I judge online shops hehe.

My Style Statement Inspired by The Ramp Crossings

Dressing up is an effort, as well as an accomplishment. Not everyone is blessed with a great style and fashion sense. It's always a challenge to conform with the norm, or even go out of norm. Sometimes, you might end up being called weird or crazy if you wear something that's not in accordance to basic pieces. But ever wonder why those items "in style" or "in season" are more often than not; NOT in anyway near staple pieces in normal wardrobe / closet?

These great geniuses or fashion gurus are always "fashion-forward" that's why! They're not afraid to do their own thing and flaunt their skills the best way they can, regardless of what other people say. And for me, that earns a lot of respect.

I posted a few entries before about my challenge ... some how, in corporate dressing. Somehow, there's this fear of coming out with "too-old" or "too plain" or "too formal" look. Being in the corporate world, I know I need to dress up but the choices somehow may not be fit for me. However, choosing the other styles may look "too young" either - which may not be appropriate for an office wear. There's always that borderline. And having a company dress code; while it does help us project that better corporate image; it's also a big challenging. Take for example, my Outfit Post: I Think I'm ♣UGLY♣ where I mixed office wear with trend shoes, heel-less wedges. The look received a lot of good words and comments from fellow bloggers and fashionistas; to the level of praise some how; but it received quite a number of mixed reactions in the office - from the level of "ok" to "not appropriate."

So what look can be good enough for corporate / office wear without being too flashy? So I just joined this site called Polyvore and wow; it has a lot of style inspirations for fellow users and it's fantastic how you can create your own style inspiration. I played around it for a bit and came up with this look using items from one of the shops I also physically visit - The RAMP Crossings ...

BonChon Chicken Craving!

The first time I've set my foot at one of their stores at Robinson's Galleria, I knew I was "in" for another great gastronomic experience! BAM! That expectation wasn't failed by this store! Of course, there was already so much hype into it last year when I first tried it. And until now, this still sits as one of my favorite chicken fast-food places on earth! Take note ... this post has been moved and moved and moved in posting schedule and thank goodness, today I finally posted it hehe.

Samsung Makes BIG BANG ALIVE!

Followers of this blog know for sure that my KPOP music fandom has inspired me a lot in my Asian fashion inspirations and style. 2NE1 is my most favorite music and style icon from the scene and of course, talking about music, their male counterpart aptly called BIG BANG is yet another fave for me. Who wouldn't fall in love with these cuties? Tell me! Aside from their groovy music, they're obviously overflowing with hotness! Do I sound so biased?

I first got to know them when I saw T.O.P. featured in the music video by GUMMY in the song entitled SORRY（ごめんなさい）when I was just watching 2NE1 videos; and this one had Sandara Park in it - she was trying to get back in the scene then. Eventually, I got interested with 2NE1 and so on ... I saw their collab-video called Lollipop with uber-cuteness tune and such a colorful music video ... and the rest is history. Need I say more? I just got hooked and boom! Been listening to their music since then ...

This time; with many of my fellow countrymen (wow, so formal! LOL) getting hooked to Korean music and fashion; it's great to know that big brand names such as SAMSUNG are willing to bring them over; live in the flesh, for fans like me to feast on! With the advent of the group's latest album "ALIVE," my favorite brand for now (since I'm such an Android fan and a user of Samsung Galaxy SII hehe) brings us BIGBANG ALIVE GALAXY TOUR 2012!

Etude House's Precious Mineral SUN BB Cream! My Cool Fix!

Judging from the title, you know that my post will be highly biased and subjective to the newest type of BB cream that Etude House has recently introduced. I was intrigued by the new packaging and the system of application it entails, as explained or shown in their commercials (which of course, are cute videos with Sandara Park).

I've been using it for about 2 months now and of course, I'm not just posting my review without me gathering proper thoughts and insights about the product. I don't post product reviews just as soon as the product gets released. I need to try it and get a good feel (or even bad) before I do my write ups. And now is the chance! Woot!

I posted my new haul sometime, like a month ago with this product included. I've been so excited to write about it since then but contained that excitement as well until I'm really confident about it. And now is the chance ...

There are three (3) different shades available and knowing that my skin needs the lightest all the time; the sales lady at the Etude House Boutique recommended this one - Precious Mineral Sun BB Cream N02 Light Beige. I wasn't so convinced initially because, while it's the lightest in shade, it still appears a little darker than my previous BB cream. Anyway, it's worth trying ...

Badgeplz Instagram Widget Spam and Malware Issues

Recently, I've been getting feedback from some of my readers that my blog is redirecting to spam and porn sites, which I wasn't fully aware of. I kinda noticed a little slowness in loading my page but I never really thought it'd be because of link re-directions to spam sites!

It started with my loves Pakize and Joyce who constantly updated that their anti-virus programs have prompted them of adware and trojans coming from my blog. I couldn't figure out what's wrong and asked their help to take a screen capture of the notice and what directions were given - so I could identify and pinpoint where the problem is and remove it. I had no clue what was going on and which one was triggering it. I checked my links and nothing seemed suspicious. Then my dear Emman Malaman found a site that helped identify what the problem is.

I immediately did the recommendations and boy, was it a sigh of relief right after. Everything was pointing to the malicious content on my blog- which was no other than the cute and seems-awesome instagram widget called BADGEPLZ. It was innocently sitting on my blog with its cute customized design and theme, seemingly perfect for bloggers like me as it shows my # of photos and followers as well. Little did we know, it was as dangerous.

Outfit Post: Artlets Royale Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ

A few of my colleagues called me "doc" in this outfit. LOL. I figured as much, that it'd go that way because of the white on white top ensemble I did. But it was really more of me reminiscing my college life and how my uniform was so similar to the look that came about.

Artlets is how we fondly call ourselves since we were from the Faculty of Arts and Letters, (University of Santo Tomas). My uniform really kinda looked like this - white top, navy blue skirt, navy blue bow tie / ribbon. I just opted for a blazer instead.

From school girl - to corporate! Always an Artlets girl! (^_^)

That time I wore this, I had a client visit and of course, I have to channel my corporate looks in this event. After all, I am mostly shifting to that clothing style - from casual and cutesy attire. It'll always be challenging for me since I am still in my 20s and there's that danger of looking too old with the pieces I'll put together. I guess "style" does play a factor.

Dressing up "corporate style" does not necessarily mean I need to put on matronly looks / outfit just to be perceived as mature and grown up. In my role, there's that need but it still pays to know the trends to keep up with great fashion sense and keep that youthful vibe in the work field ...

Outfit Post: I Think I'm ♣UGLY♣

Don't you feel it too, sometimes? Like, being "ugly" and all? I bet you also do ...

Listening to 2NE1's song "UGLY" made me contemplate on the lyrics; a little bit and I did ponder on the meaning ... wallowing in deep thoughts may be unhealthy sometimes but the good brain exercise keep you sane.

I know I said it for some time now that office attire can be tricky some times because of the dress codes implemented and the interpretation behind it.

The song lyrics go (part of it, chorus) ...

"I think I'm ugly
And nobody wants to love me
Just like her I wanna be pretty
I wanna be pretty
Don't lie to my face
Tellin' me I'm pretty"

My sentiments exactly! Sometimes, I feel like even when I dress up well, it is unappreciated and gets attention the wrong way. There are but a few who does give you praise and admiration for your fashion sense. There are those who would laugh in scorn. There are those who'd tell you you're pretty and all but says otherwise when you turn your back.

Nymph Aura Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss #17

If you're blessed with perfect skin and beauty, obviously, you wouldn't need makeup to enhance your looks. But of course, we know that nobody's perfect and in one way or another, we'll need "enhancers" to achieve the look we want.

Etude House Nymph Aura Dear Darling Roll Gloss

Thankfully, there's Etude House to provide us every girl's needs in terms of make up and skin care. It's been a favorite for me since last year. If you're a follower and reader of this blog, you'll know what loots I have every now and then. I am grateful that I am blessed with good skin and looks (uhmmm ... didn't know how to say it best without sounding too self-absorbed lah~ but it's true waaaah) and don't need much make up but I do use a few when needed. You will see that in my posts here in terms of beauty and skin care blog posts. Of course, I am not selfish so I share what I do to my lovely readers. (^_^)

For instance, about using lipstick, you'll find out that I don't really use lipstick. I also don't use lip gloss nor lip balm that often. Not daily. Only during client presentations or when extremely needed. I really look "too plain" and pale everyday I guess. LOL.

But there's one product line I won't regret using often because I don't get any irritations nor side effects. It's safe for daily use! And for my lips; I use Nymph Aura Dear Darling Roll Roll Gloss #17 in Pink. It's in the light shade of pink that won't make me look too-made-up hence I love it's overall effect!
