Outfit Post: Sweet Girl Glee Burlesque

At parties, it's really a different story. My outfits always come out differently. Some may find it weird. Haha! However, I'd rather not care. It's all about style, fashion, and trend! My fashion sense ain't too-extremist though but a little eccentric ... especially on events hehe. The normal corporate look and casuals are put aside. The result! Something like this!

Cute and Sweet Pose?

Our company's Christmas party was "Glee"-themed ... but I wasn't too much of a follower of the show. I watched a few episodes and I'm still trying to find time to watch the series hehe. I love musicals so I'm definitely gonna watch it full ... soon! But sad to say, not right now ...

And so, I just opted for a "Sweet Girl" yet a musical-inspired theme; more of a "Moulin Rouge" and "Burlesque" style I must say ... Those two (2) movies - I really love to bits! But of course, I still must adhere to the theme so I somehow channeled in Glee ... I came up with this look! It was fun! (^_^)

The event was packed with performances from different departments that all channeled their inner-Glee character. Here's one of the groups - our Receptionists hehe. They're all lovely! Took a photo together woot!

Icel, my, Maria, and Claude (still in her costume hehe)
This was just last 2011 during our company Christmas party.

I wasn't really too-prepared (LOL) - everything else I had there was rushed. My nails were done the last minute at MINT Nails + Wax + Relax. They were chipping off fast even before I got to the event. The dress, I bought it a few days ago from a bargain store ... factory price. Talk about being thrifty right? Hurhur~ Fashion doesn't really need to be expensive!

The shoes ... well, it was the last minute buy that day! I just got them before the party itself hehe. I was still undecided if I wanted new shoes or if I'll just use the other shoe I just bought, which I wore in another party - as our account turned 3 years at Robot bar. It was a big struggle in my head hehe. Finally, I decided ... if I've worn the shoes I did wear in that last party; I couldn't wear my stockings. They're both black and would kill the style. I needed these red shoes I loved the 1st time I saw it ... so I finally got it! Anyway, I could wear it in other events hehe.

My red pumps! Good decision to buy it, right?

I'm happy that I've decided to buy it. I think I could pair it with lots of my other items anyway hehe. The satin finish makes it even look lovelier and sexier! Add the black bow accent makes it even more perfect! I can't think of how much superlatives I used now hohoho~

Some of my other accessories were available beforehand. They're in stock because of my cosplay activities heheh. So my head piece, my contact lenses, my make up; and the rest of my paraphernalia ... it's good that I kept them in my kikay kit! Made my preparation faster hohoho~

Head band, head piece, contact lenses, necklace ... and another look of my shoes + legwear!

RED + BLACK will always achieve the sweet, lovely, seductive, and sexy look! So even though I'm chubby now wahahaha ... I think this look still "looked" sexy. LOL.
