Kat, Myself, and Jolay - office buddies

I guess it's true enough. As I read the article, there are certain people who came to mind as they definitely fit in the role described in each category. I can't help but laugh as well. Some of them may not like it (as I brand them as such! LOL) but it's an honest-to-goodness realization. They play a very important role in my life ... or have played a very good role in my life indeed, that made me count them as one of the best. And they will continue to be part of my life forever ...

I've met a lot of people already, in various fields. I've had a lot of "best friends" I guess ... wherein when I was a kid, I thought I'd only have one in life. But each person plays a different role in our lives; and these people have touched my life in many ways too, and they're all in different fields altogether ...

Let's start off with my #1 category ... THE AGONY AUNT OR UNCLE and this person is no other than Jolay Esteban ... One reason why she definitely fits in this category is because ... she's either an aunt or an uncle to me as well ... dual purpose (if you get what I mean) ... LOL. Hahaha! Don't hate me Jolay!

Kidding aside, there's more than enough reasons for me to say why she fits this category for me. Allow me to define ...

Cosplay Contests - Support Please!

I ain't really a fan of Facebook "LIKE" contests hehe. I don't have the luxury of time to support all my friends too, to LIKE their photos / entries submitted on various contests so normally, I'd rather not join. However, there are two (2) recent contests I did join and I have to abide by their rules. LOL. Excuses, ei? Hehe. Oh well!

So without further ado, allow me to "advertise" myself (TROLOLOL!) This will require you to LIKE my entries on Facebook and Twitter though. Don't hate me! LOLZ.

I've won the 2008 Best Female - Cosplay Costume of the Year (CCY 2008) already; the first one ever! I cosplayed Lili Rochefort back then. This time around, it's for Cosplay Costume of the Year 2011 (CCY 2011) - Best Female Category ... woohooo! Competition is tougher than ever. It's been three (3) years since back then huh? Hehe. Lots of really good cosplays and I see a trend now ...

I Am Now in Lookbook.Nu!

Ok ... So I tried not to register for soooo long. I've been seeing the site for years now and I got interested since back then. I was soooo tempted but I decided not to. I was a little bit scared to maintain it - I might get addicted to it! LOL. My main purpose was to share my regular office attire.

After years of controlling myself ... I gave in lah!

The kikay in me was more powerful! LOL. And my goal has changed from simple sharing of my corporate looks but "my other fashion" side as well (if I can consider that fashionable indeed! LOL) I've just recently signed up and I lack the tools and all that jazz ... I don't have fancy cameras or photography tools and modeling skills and shiz! Haha! All I got is a heart full of excitement to showcase, or simply share how I think I can be of influence, to the girls / women out there; who are like me in one way or another - a corporate chic with youthful vibes. Working in a corporate environment doesn't mean I need to be caught by the fashion police, right?

Stress + Virus = Horrible Mouth Ulcers

I couldn't believe what happened to me some time December 2011 and it repeated recently this month, February 2012. It dawned on me that I'm getting unhleathy with my lifestyle and there's something I need to do or I can do to prevent this from happening again. At first, I wasn't sure what happened to me but as it has gotten worse and I wasn't healing, I consulted a doctor and that was the first time I've experienced and learned about my condition.

It wasn't fatal lah~ Good thing! However, I didn't realize that it could lead to that situation ... I had mouth ulcers.

And no, just becayse I am illustrating it with the photo below, it doesn't mean that it was exactly what happened to me. I just couldn't find a better photo that could exactly depict my condition back then. NO, I didn't have canker sores (that time) ...

I am blogging about it so I could share how I had it resolved and what totally caused it. As I search for answers, I thought initially it was a normal "singaw" or something ... but it turned out I had something different, as per the doctor.

From health blogs I read, and other medical journals, it appears like there are several causes and it depends on one's situation and state of mind. When I had mine consulted, it came off as a shock to me ... lessons learned ...

Online Shopping Scam - FASH or FAKE SHOP - Gets Busted

I'm OC when it comes to documentations. I guess it runs in the blood ...

And while it may have some not-so-good implications at times, it helps me in the long run. And it did help me get my refund from a recent online purchase I had, which turned out to be a scam. I had doubts but a few points in online shopping; I know I surely missed. It pays to be extra careful indeed ... and it pays to be a wise buyer.

So, I found myself shopping for jackets and cardigans recently because of my day to day needs at work anyway. It's a fashion-must-have I guess though it's not entirely what you need to survive in your daily attire. It's a basic piece nowadays and it goes along well with any other outfit. Being in a corporate environment where power dressing is a need as well, I know cardigan's wouldn't go wrong. I found this neat piece of cardigan from an online shop called the FASH SHOP - http://fashwardrobestore.multiply.com/ It turned out to be a FAKE SHOP I guess.

Silly me, I fell victim to this. LOL. But I'm glad to have resolved this and I'm sharing this to all online shoppers out there ... hope this helps!
