Am I really into brands? Not really. But sometimes, I prefer certain brands over generics hehe. This is because, I certainly believe, such brands have already gained their following and that, they've earned the trust of many with regard to the quality of their products. Not all brands have to be costly. There are really good deals around and just this week, my friend and colleague Ten brought me to this store I've never really heard of. She called it Payless, which really occured to me as a brand of instant noodles, no pun intended! But as the name goes, you really pay for less. I researched a little before coming and from there I knew that Payless is actually Payless Shoe Source. And for every girl who loves shoes, this is the place to be! 70% discounts on good shoes? You bet I'll spend at least a few on this ...

Payless ShoeSource is the largest specialty family footwear retailer in the U.S., as quoted from collectivebrands.com. You can get a lot of good finds from their online store: http://www.payless.com/store/ Through its “House of Brands” strategy, Payless has built a strong brand portfolio that includes Airwalk®, Dexter®, Champion®, American Eagle by Payless, SmartFit, Zoe&Zac®, Brash™, designer labels Lela Rose for Payless™, Christian Siriano for Payless™, Isabel Toledo for Payless™ and Silvia Tcherassi for Payless™. Come 2010, Payless and Stores Specialists, Inc. brought Payless brand promise of affordable fashion, brands and quality to millions of new customers in the Philippines. Many shoe shoppaholics were engrossed to the idea of quality yet affordable shoe sales from the said store and has participated in welcoming its set of retail chains in the Philippines, as the shoe duchess also blogged about. With these pieces of information, I was more than excited to check it out as well and this is what I found ...

I love how the shoes were arranged in the racks per size and you didn't have to request for your size anymore. Each side have measurement guides and plastered all around the walls are sale posters and I LOVE SHOES tagline. Need I say more? Yes! I love good shoes as well to bring me to perfect places! And this one's where I'm getting my next pair, indeed.
I first tried on this cutesy Montego Bay Club slip-on wedges. Looks pretty decent at P900++.

Flats are the new heels! Or so I say. LOL. This one is rather comfy so I bought it. I paid P440 for this pair. I think it's pretty nice and it feels like I ain't wearing shoes! It's soooo soft! It's perfect for my everyday office ensemble! (^_^) I think it's like the Sanuk brand ... I dunno. Looks & feels like it though!
We actually ended up buying three (3) pairs of shoes. 1 for me and 2 for Ten. Poor Mel but she did buy a wallet, a cutesy black & white polka-dot one (not in picture).

Just how good is it?
Well, I think it's too good that after Ten bought 2 pairs of shoes, we drove off once more and came back for three (3) more pairs of shoes! LOL. So if you want good shoes with good prices on sale, this promotion is to-die-for! Don't miss it and pay LESS for your shoes!

ReplyDeleteHi Ruth! I believe yes they're on American sizes because it came from the US. :) Also, I'm a size 7 on their store; I'm normally a size 8 for Philippines/Asian sizes. :)
